A+ Premium Filtering blocks the following categories of web sites: Adult Material: Internet related websites and/or applications intended for an adult audience or content that is not specifically designed for viewing pornography, but may serve as a gateway to such material. Alternate Lifestyle: Non-pornographic content that provides information on or caters to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and other alternative lifestyles. Audio & Video File Sharing: Downloading of audio or video files or websites that serve as directories of such sites. File sharing programs are often sources of pornography. Criminal Activity: Criminal activity includes, but is not necessarily limited to, hate speech, wagering, illegal drug promotion, illegal weapons suicide, and crime instructions. Crude/Tasteless: Any content containing tasteless humor, excretory functions, graphic medical, autopsy or accident photos and extreme forms of body modification and, sites that contain vulgar or obscene language or gestures. Pornography, Recreational Nudity and Obscenity: Pornography refers to any content containing bare breasts or genitalia in a photo, drawing, or other sexual depiction. Recreational nudity includes naturism, streaking, and other unclothed or see-through clothing activities. Obscenity refers to sites containing vulgar words regarding sexual organs, sexual activity, or other sexual speech in a crude or blatant manner; sexual paraphernalia; erotica and other literature primarily featuring explicit sexual content; sex-oriented businesses such as adult clubs, escort services, and age verification sites (for the purpose of purchasing pornography or sexual paraphernalia). Swimsuits / Lingerie: Content that provide photos of models wearing swimsuits, lingerie, underwear, or other highly revealing attire. ***A subscriber can request that any of the above categories (except Pornography, Recreational Nudity and Obscenity) be removed from blocking. ***Other categories that can be added for for blocking are Chat/BBS/Instant Messaging, Search Sites, Downloads, Personals & Dating, Web-Based Email, Gambling, Alcohol & Tobacco, Personal Websites, and Weapons & Violence.
